Saddles and trajectories and poles and surface waves in heavy ion elastic scattering

Description

The pictures of complex trajectories and surface waves for heavy ion scattering are discussed through the various terms of the Poisson summation formula. Well defined regions of the complex angular momentum plane appear to be important and some of them, but not all, may correspond to Regge poles
