Nuclear update: Sizewell-B progress

Description
So far construction of the PWR reactor at Sizewell-B in Suffolk has been on schedule and to budget. Progress to date is reviewed. The pressure vessel has been installed and 90 per cent of all structural concrete has already been poured. The target for loading fuel in November 1993 is expected to be met. Important features of the construction are noted. (UK)
