The testing and analysis of installed γ personnel surface contamination monitoring assemblies

Description
The homogeneity and 4π efficiency are carried out to a model of Installed γ personnel surface contamination monitoring assemblies in nuclear power plants. The self-designed calibration devices are used. The analysis of the surveying results shows that in one detector the range of efficiency is greater than three times in different locations. The change of distance from the hot spot to the detector will greatly affect 4π efficiency to a channel, and then affect alarm threshold setting. (authors)
