11Li + 12C elastic scattering at 30 MeV/nucleon

Description
Starting with an effective potential given as the sum of the phenomenological 9Li + 12C potential and the folding of the empirical n + 12C with the two extra-neutrons density we have shown that to reproduce the measured cross section we have to add a repulsive real term and a strongly absorptive term which simulate the effect of break-up channels on the 11Li + 12C potential.
