Statistical description of radiation fields on the basis of the invariance principle. IV. Results of numerical calculations
Description
The results of numerical calculations for the mean number of scatterings and the mean time a photon remains in the medium are given. These quantities were considered in earlier studies. The dependence of these average quantities on the scattering mechanism, the initial state of the photon, and the values of the parameters λ and β is established
