Electron temperature measurements in plasma focus device

Description
Electron temperature in plasma focus device has been measured using the soft X-ray absorber foil method. X-ray brusts, with different energies, were observed just after the focus formation. The estimated electron temperature was in the range of 1-4 KeV, which depends upon both the gas pressure and the charging voltage. (orig.)
