Ecological background for the necessity to collect 3H, 14C, 85Kr, and 129I, produced by various process of nuclear reactor cycle
Creators
Description
Ecological background for the necessity to collect 3H, 14C, 85Kr, and 129I was described. As for eacn nuclide, (1) natural resources and background level (2) artificial resources, mainly by a reactor, and its present concentration (3) effects to the human, especially, the radiation dose to decision organs, and (4) path for incorporation into human were reviewed. As a result, release of 14C and 85Kr to environment was not permissive. 3H release was not favorable from a macroscopic point and was not permissive to release locally or regionally. 129I causes local contamination in the vicinity of fuel retreatment factory, which concentration was not permissive.
