Study on the polaron model by method of functional integration

  • 1. Joint Inst. for Nuclear Research, Dubna (USSR)
  • 2. Moskovskij Gosudarstvennyj Univ. (USSR)

Description

The polaron model is studied by means of integration in a functional space. The Bogolyubov canonical transformations and the approximate continual integration are used to calculate the polaron effective mass. It is emphasized that the developed technique of calculations of the polaron effective mass implies the account of the law of momentum conservation, that makes this technique strict and consistent
