Maximizing the CO2 separation in the Oxyfuel coal-fired process with cryogenic air separation plant
Description
In this work the influence of a maximised carbon capture rate on the overall process of an Oxyfuel coal-fired power plant is evaluated. The capture rate is increased by implementing an additional capture process as a complement to the partial condensation process. This additional process can either be a membrane process or a pressure swing adsorption. The processes are evaluated with commercial modelling tools.
