Investigation of spark track conservation after double-pulsed triggering with alternating pulses

Description
The parameters of tracks of charged particles are investigated for long delays in the wide gap spark chamber by means of double-pulsed triggering with high voltage HF pulses. It is shown that tracks with good spatial resolution can be obtained for the mixture Ne + Ar(0.6%) + SF6 (5 x 10-5%) at a delay of the Hs registrating pulse of 0.25-1,000 μsec. (orig./AK)

Es werden die Parameter von Spuren geladener Teilchen in der Wide-gap Funkenkammer bei grossen Verzoegerungen mit Hilfe der doppelten Speisung durch Hochspannungs-HF-Impulse untersucht. Es wird bewiesen, dass man fuer das Ne + Ar(0.6%) + SF6(5.10-5%)-Gemisch hochwertige Spuren bei Verzoegerungen des Hs-Registrier-Impulses von 0,25-1.000 μsec erhalten kann. (orig.)Additional details
