Description
The thermal stresses caused in a thick-walled reactor vessel by a temperature gradient between the inner and outer surfaces as well as by incident nuclear radiation are calculated by two methods. Analytically, assuming an infinitely long, thick-walled hollow cylinder, and by means of the method of finite elements, accounting for geometry. For an existing research reactor two stress relief measures are investigated. (orig.)

Es werden die Waermespannungen eines dickwandigen Reaktorbehaelters infolge eines Temperaturgefaelles zwischen Innen- und Aussenseite sowie auftreffender nuklearer Strhalung nach 2 Methoden berechnet: analytisch, unter der Annahme eines unendlich langen, dickwandigen Hohlzylinders, und mittels der Methode der Finiten Elemente mit Beruecksichtigung der Geometrie. Fuer einen bestehenden Forschungsreaktor werden 2 Massnahmen untersucht, die einen Spannungsabbau bewirken sollen. (orig.)Additional details
