Optimization of the operational regimes of the installation for refuse heat utilization

Description

An installation scheme for utilization of low-potential heat from outlet flue gases with possibilities to heat up the heat transfer medium to higher temperatures is proposed. A computer code allowing the optimization of the heat transfers surfaces of the installation as well as their geometric and aerodynamic characteristics is developed. Two common operational regimes are analyzed and an optimum temperature of the heat transfer medium in the condense economizer is determined. Possibilities of optimizing the parameters of the utilization system under various regimes, complied with the conditions of the consumer are explicated. (author)
