New nuclear power plants in the Federal Republic of Germany in 1980

Description
The annual atw report contains tabulated summaries and individual reports with illustrations showing the latest state of construction and planning of nuclear power plants and a survey of the facilities currently in operation. There were two divergent trends in West Germany in 1979. On the one hand three new plants were started up and electricity generation from nuclear power was raised by 18%; on the other hand, there was a period of stagnation without new construction permits and new projects and with delayed construction of projected plants due to licensing problems. Abstract (German)
Der spezielle Bericht, den die atw alljaehrlich ueber 'Neue Kernkraftwerke' veroeffentlicht, enthaelt tabellarische Uebersichten und individuelle Statusberichte ueber alle im Bau befindlichen und projektierten Kernkraftwerke nach neuestem Stand. Ausserdem wird zusammenfassend ueber die in Betrieb befindlichen Anlagen berichtet. Das Jahr 1979 brachte in der Bundesrepublik Deutschland zwei kontraere Entwicklungen: einerseits die Inbetriebnahme von drei neuen Anlagen und eine Steigerung der Atomstromerzeugung um 18%, andererseits eine andauernde Stagnation bei neuen Vorhaben (keine neue Baugenehmigung, kein neuer Auftrag, kein neues Projekt) und vor allem genehmigungsseitig verursachte Verzoegerungen bei den im Bau befindlichen Anlagen.
