Molecular and applied modulation effects in electron-electron double resonance

  • 1. Vanderbilt Univ., Nashville, Tenn. (USA). Dept. of Chemistry

Description

Frequency-swept absorption ELDOR signals for the CH2COO-radical in zinc acetate depend upon Zeeman modulation frequency, the signals going from a positive to a negative sense as the Zeeman modulation frequency is varied from 100 to 1 kHz. A mathematical formulation derived explicitly considering applied electromagnetic radiation and Zeeman modulation fields is employed to computer-simulate the experimentally observed effects.
