Excited states of 133Nd reached by 116Sn(20Ne,3n) reaction. Comparison to neighbouring odd-neutron nuclei
Description
High-spin levels in 133Nd produced by the 116Sn(20Ne,3n)133Nd reaction have been studied by in-beam gamma-ray spectroscopic techniques. An odd-parity band based upon a 9/2- state is found and explained as the result of the coupling between a hsub(11/2) neutron-hole and the triaxial core. A comparison is made with neighbouring odd-neutron isotopes and isotones
