Studying of exposure factors effects in X-ray unit output
- 1. Sudan Academy of Sciences (SAS) Atomic Energy of Council, Kartoum (Sudan)
Description
In this research we studded the exposure factors effects (distance, mAs, and kvp) in the x-ray unit out put. On studding distance effect, the dose was measured at different distances from focal spot. The general dose was found to decrease with an increment of distance for all different applied voltage which is in accordance with the inverse square law. On studying mAs with constant kvp. Using analytical graphs the general dose was found to increase with increasing mAs. On studying kvp effect , the dose was measured at different kvp with constant mAs. Using analytical graphs the general dose was found to increase with increasing kvp. (Author)
