The experimental foundation of the results remains thereby always the central part of the course. Das Buch vermittelt die wichtigsten Grundtatsachen, Verfahren und Anwendungen der Kernphysik, verbunden mit der Erhellung der erkenntnistheoretischen Eigenart dieses Gebietes sowie seiner speziellen Forschungsmethoden. Die experimentelle Begruendung der Erkenntnisse bleibt dabei stets das zentrale Ereignis des Unterrichts. Daneben werden die speziellen Gefahren bewusst gemacht, die aus den Anwendungen der Kernphysik fuer Mensch und Umwelt entstehen, sowie die Moeglichkeiten zu ihrer Vermeidung diskutiert.
