Description

The radiative life times for some energy levels of Ar+ in the Ar gas discharge have been measured for specific temperature, gas density and discharge current. The influences on the radiative life time due to collisions and other effects in discharge have also been discussed. The radiative life times of these levels are given from measuring the widths of the spectral lines
