Alloy 800: Low cycle fatigue curves as the basis for design against fatigue of HTR-components

Description
For a reliable fatigue analysis, one requires secure characteristics of the alternating strain behaviour, which were provided by a scatter band evaluation from low cycle fatigue experiments on materials of the alloy 800 type. This evaluation takes into account the latest state of the experiments in the context of the prototype nuclear process heat plant project (PNP) and beyond this all the information available from the literature. There is a special question regarding the low cycle fatigue behaviour in the HTR helium atmosphere. (orig./DG)

Fuer eine zuverlaessige Ermuedungsanalyse sind abgesicherte Kennwerte des Dehnwechselverhaltens erforderlich, die mit einer Streubandauswertung von LCF-Versuchen an Werkstoffen des Legierungstyps Alloy 800 bereitgestellt wurden. Diese Auswertung beruecksichtigt den neuesten Stand der Versuche im Rahmen des Projektes Prototypanlage Nukleare Prozesswaerme (PNP) und darueber hinaus alle verfuegbaren Informationen aus der Literatur. Eine besondere Fragestellung dabei betrifft das LCF-Verhalten in der Umgebungsatmosphaere HTR-Helium. (orig./DG)Additional details
