Electric fields of ionospheric plasma in the low-latitude region

Description

Physicomathematical model of electric fields and currents of ionospheric plasma, providing the description of latitude changes of these electrodynamic parameters, is suggested. Results, obtained in solution of model problem, are analyzed. It is shown that distribution of electric fields and currents of ionospheric plasma is characterized by sufficient heterogeneities. This fact must be taken into account, when solving problems, related with electrodynamics of ionospheric plasma. 14 refs., 3 figs
