Isolation and separation of transplutonium elements from other actinides on anionites from aqueous solutions and aqueous - ethanol solutions of sulfuric acid
Description
Pa, U, Np, Pu, Am, Cm, BK, Cf, Es and Zr behaviour on anionite and cationite in aqueous and aqueous alcohol solutions of sulfuric acid depending on concentration of different components of the solution is investigated. It is found that alcohol presence in sulfuric acid solutions results in increase of distribution coefficients both on cationites and anionites. The possibility of using ionites for transplutonium element concentrating and separation from U, Np, Pu, Zr and other elements forming strong complexes with sulfate-ions in a wide range of sulfuric acid concentrations is shown
