Neutron activation analysis of natural waters in combination with preliminary concentration of microelements
Description
Neutron activation analysis of natural waters (NW) is considered in combination with preconcentration of microelements (ME). NW analysis includes separation of suspended particles from different filters, then preconcentration of ME in dissolved form using organic coprecipitator (8.8'-diguinolyldisulfide), coprecipitation of heavy metal thiooxinates and multi-elemental analysis of concentrates of suspended particles and dissolved form. Detection thresholds for heavy metals (transition elements, Zn, Sb, Hg) and nuclear-physical characteristics of radionuclides used for the analysis as well are given. Determination error for the mentioned elements constitutes on an average 10-15 %. 10 refs.; 3 tabs
