Production of multicharged Os ion beams from organic metal compounds using a RIKEN 18 GHz electron cyclotron resonance ion source
- 1. Institute of Physical and Chemical Research, Wako, Saitama (Japan)
Description
We successfully produced the multicharged osmium (Os) ions using metal ions from volatile compounds (MIVOC) method from a RIKEN 18 GHz electron cyclotron resonance ion source (ECRIS). Beam intensities of Os28+,33+ ions were 10 and 2.5 eμA at the RF power of 250 W, respectively. (author)
