It is the main target of this book to describe a great part of the present state of knowledge on methods for judging the reliability of technical systems within one context. The material was selected and arranged in particular with regard to the range of practical application. Das Hauptziel dieses Buches ist es, einen Grossteil des gegenwaertigen Wissensstandes ueber Methoden zur Beurteilung der Zuverlaessigkeit von technischen Systemen zusammenhaengend darzustellen. Auswahl und Anordnung des Stoffes erfolgten vor allem im Hinblick auf die Einsatzbreite in der Praxis. Weiter hinten stehen jeweils die fuer die Praxis nicht ganz so wichtigen Themen.
