Study of magnetoresistance in oriented YBa2Cu3O7-δ thin film

Description

The magnetoresistance of a c-axis oriented YBa2Cu3O7-δ thin film has been measured in magnetic fields, B, up to 12 T. The magnetic field was oriented both perpendicularly and parallel to the basal plane. The temperatures ranged up to ε = (T-Tc)/Tc∼1/3 for B//c, while for B perpendicular to c the range was limited to ε ≤ 0.16. Analysis of the data in terms of superconducting fluctuations described by the Aronov-Hikami-Larkin theory is discussed. (orig.)
