Detection of selected air pollutants using a laboratory neutron generator
Creators
Description
Abstract A method for the determination of selected airborne participates is described. Neutron activation analysis using a Cockcroft-Walton accelerator is employed. The method is direct, nondestructive, and avoids sample dissolution, ashing, and separation procedures. The results by neutron activation are compared to those obtained by the emission spectrographic method.
