Level structure of 14C via neutron scattering to the unbound levels of 13C
- 1. Ohio Univ., Athens, OH (United States)
Description
Analysis of recent 13C(n,n*)13C experiments at the Ohio University Accelerator Laboratory have been performed using the R-Matrix formalism. Results of this analysis confirm the previously reported 1- at an Ex of 15.8 MeV. In addition, a 2- or 3- at Ex of 17 MeV and a 3+ or 4+ level at Ex of 19 MeV were also observed. The results of the scattering experiment will also be compared to theoretical calculations using the cruncher shell model code
