Calculation of relativistic exciton transition rate

  • 1. Academia Sinica, Beijing, BJ (China). Inst. of Atomic Energy

Description

Relativistic exciton transition rates are calculated with both phenomenological and microscopic relativistic optical potentials in order to generalize the exciton model for high energy range. An empirical formula of the relativistic exciton transition rates is recommended in the mass number range A = 40-252 and the energy range E = 40-1040 MeV
