Description

Recent self-consistent calculations of single-K-bar and multi-K-bar (hyper)nuclear states are reviewed. First, I demonstrate the interplay between the underlying dynamical processes and the relevant kinematical conditions that determine the sizeable decay widths of K-bar-nuclear states. Then, I discuss a robust saturation pattern of the K-bar separation energy BK-bar and densities on increasing the number of antikaons embedded in the (hyper)nuclear system. It is concluded that K-bar condensation is unlikely to occur in strong-interaction self-bound strange hadronic configurations. (author)
