Description
Board of Radiation and Isotope Technology (BRIT), Vashi supplies radiopharmaceuticals to various hospitals in India. HP unit, BRIT, Vashi provides radiological support to the facility. In this paper the safety measures taken to reduce personnel exposure at RPL during the years 2008, 2009 and 2010 is discussed. Reduction of in personnel external/internal exposure could be achieved at RPL by improving the work procedures adopted and by better radiation safety awareness of laboratory personnel. (author)
