Description
Technical evaluation of indigenously available proprietary formulations for their suitability as corrosion inhibitors, antifoulants, algaecides, coagulants etc. has been carried out, with a view to find the best combination for use in cooling water systems in Heavy Water Project, Kota. Material compatibility experiments were carried out through laboratory experiments as well as a larger 200 litre test assembly, simulating plant conditions and appropriate recommendations were made to the users.
