Tungstato-ferrates of certain alkali and alkaline earth metals

Description
Thermogravimetric analysis of Cd4GeS6 and Cd4GeSe6 powdered crystals is carried out. The composition of vapour phase during their thermal evaporation is studied mass-spetcrometrically. It is shown that the substances are stable during heating in the air up to 680 and 740 K respectively. The evaporation of the substances is of incongruent character, dissociation degree depends on evaporation temperature. In vapour phase of the compounds molecules of CdS, CdSe, GeS2, GeSe2 are detected, which are elements of the crystal structure. There are no molecules comprising both germanium and cadmium atoms
