Noncommutative 3 dimensional soliton from multi-instantons
Description
We extend Manton's proposal of obtaining monopole configurations from infinite charge instantons, to noncommutative space-times. Using this approach, and starting from the noncommutative self dual instanton found elsewhere, we construct a BPS monopole solution of noncommutative U(2) Yang-Mills-Higgs theory. This configuration is the noncommutative version of the Wu-Yang monopole. (author)
