Significance of nuclear for Germany's energy supply
Description
The history of electrictiy generation development in the Federal Republic of Germany is outlined. The importance of nuclear power, which accounted for nearly 36% of electric generation in 1985, is emphasized. Nuclear power is shown to be much cheaper than electricity from coal
