The book gives an introduction to applied geostatistics. Examples of application in uranium exploration, hard coal mining, and exploration of marine ore sludges are described. A GDMB classification of resources is presented as well as a list of the basic concepts of geostatistics in German, English and French. Separate documentary analyses have been carried out on the chapters on uranium exploration and coal mining. (MSK)

Abstract (German)

Der Band enthaelt eine Einfuehrung in die Anwendung von geostatistischen Methoden. Anwendungsbeispiele aus der Uranexploration, dem Steinkohlebergbau sowie der Exploration von marinen Erzschlaemmen werden beschrieben. Eine von der GDMB empfohlene Klassifikation der Lagerstaettenvorraete und eine Zusammenstellung von geostatistischen Grundbegriffen in deutsch, englisch und franzoesisch sind ebenfalls enthalten. Die Beispiele zur Uranexploration und zum Steinkohlebergbau wurden gesondert aufgenommen. (MSK)
