Low-temperature zinc molybdate scintillators for experiments on the search of neutrinoless double-beta decay 100Mo
Description
It is established that by liquid nitrogen cooling the zinc molybdate monocrystals may be applied as scintillators. Measurement of the crystals background revealed the presence of 210Rb radioactive additions with specific activity of 0.07 - 0.19 Bq/g in various samples
