Magnetic properties of lanthanum manganite doped with Li, Na, K, Tl and Hg ions
Description
A study was made into crystal structure, dynamic and static magnetic properties of lanthanum manganite with additions of alkali metals (Li, Na, K) thallium and mercury. Lanthanum manganite alloying with Na, K and Tl is shown to result in the occurrence of uniform ferromagnetic state and metallic conductivity. Li and Hg additions result in a decrease of Curie temperature and magnetization as compared to LaMnO3.10. Synthesis conditions and lattice parameters are given for rhombohedral perovskite-like lanthanum manganites of various compositions
