X-ray dynamic diffraction in a superlattice with different layer thicknesses in the period

Description

In paper the stable and unstable solutions of Takagi system method was applied to superlattices (SL) with unequal layer thicknesses in the period. The particular case of SL with very large difference of layer thicknesses in a SL period are special discussed. The analytical expressions linking angular intervals of rocking curve with structure parameters of the SLs were obtained. The peculiarities of satellites angular widths dependences in two limit cases: T > Λext and T < Λext (T is the SL period, and Λext is extinctions length) were investigated

Abstract (Russian)

Метод устойчивых и неустойчивых решений системы уравнений Такаги применен к прямоугольной сверхрешетке (СР) с неравными толщинами слоев в периоде. Отдельно рассмотрен случай, когда толщина одного из слоев много больше, чем другого. Получены аналитические выражения, связывающие угловые ширины и положения сателлитов со структурными параметрами таких СР. Исследован характер зависимостей ширин сателлитов в двух предельных случаях: T > Λext и T < Λext (T - период СР, Λext - длина экстинкции)
