Description

In this work, it is examined to extract hetero polyanions (HPA), namely, P2W17O6110-, P2W18O626- or SiW11O398- by TBP. It was found that each HPA is extracted by TBP/dodecane from HNO3 or HCl aqueous solution, as H10P2W17O61 in the case of P2W17O6110-. The mechanism of extraction is studied especially about P2W17O6110-. The distribution ratio of P2W17O6110- depends on H+ concentration in aqueous solution, free-TBP concentration in organic solution and ionic strength in aqueous solution. (author)
