Current status of clinical applications of thermoluminescence dosimetry in the United States
Description
Lithium fluoride continues to be the most commonly used phosphor for clinical dose measurements. Solid TL dosimeters have gained wide acceptance. National quality assurance programs using mailed TL dosimeters are an on-going activity. TL dosimetry plays a significant role in dose measurements in radiation therapy and diagnostic radiology.
