Uranium geochemical evolution and metallogenesis of continental crust in South China

Description
The courses of uranium geochemical evolution and metallogenesis of continental crust in South China are those of the formations of primitive and derived U-source beds or rock bodies and the reformation and enrichment on the basis of them. In this region, the primitive U-source beds are Pre-Sinian strata, whose contents of U average 2.4 ∼ 4 x 10-6. The derived U-source beds are Upper Sinian-Lower Cambrian, Middle Devonian, Lower Carboniferous and Upper Permian. The authors also demonstrates the implication of the structures reworking the U-source beds/rock bodies into uranium deposits and suggests how to prospect further for uranium deposits in South China
