Finitely conducting aligned plane magnetohydrodynamic confluent flows
Description
The flow of electrically conducting fluids of finite electrical conductivity is studied. Particular attention is given to the following cofluent flows: (1) isoenergetic lines and isovels coincide with the streamlines in the physical plane, and (2) isocurls coincide with streamlines in a physical plane, and isobars coincide with streamlines in the physical plane. An equivalent alternate formulation of the flow equations is presented. 6 refs
