The metal/metal hydride process for producing hydrogen from water - investigations on process development and construction of a demonstration plant
Description
This study investigates the hydrogen permeation behaviour of TiNi diaphragms after alloying manganese and boron. In the ternary system Li-LiH-Na, the hydrogen pressure was measured in the temperature range of between 650 and 9000C. A hydrogen generation unit of a hybrid thermochemical water dissociation process Na-NaH was set up in laboratory scale and tested under operation conditions. (GG)

Untersucht wurde das Wasserstoff-Permeationsverhalten von Membranen aus TiNi nach dem Zulegieren von Mangan und Bor. Vermessen wurde im ternaeren System Li-LiH-Na der Wasserstoffdruck im Temperaturbereich zwischen 650 und 9000C. Eine Wasserstofferzeugungseinheit eines hybriden thermochemischen Wasserspaltungsprozesses Na-NaH wurde im Labormassstab aufgebaut und im Betrieb getestet. (GG)Additional details
