Description
After more than 10 years of operating experience with 8 x 8-2 non-liner fuel designs, Kuosheng Nuclear Power Station of Taiwan Power Company loaded the first 9 x 9 fuel assemblies in Asia in 1992. The design chosen was a proven 9 x 9-2 fuel design with extensive solid experience in the U.S. and Europe. In 1996, Kuosheng Station upgraded the reload fuel design to a more advanced ATRIUM-9B design which is a 9 x 9 nonlinear fuel design
