Description
Within the work for identification of new eutectics based on Fe, Co or Ni, suitable for development as materials for directionally solidified turbine blades operating up to 1,1500C, a large number of ternary alloy systems on Co-base was studied. The primary objectives to be met by those eutectics were: melting point above 1,2000C, specific gravity less than 9,000 kg/m3, parabolic oxidation rate < 10-7g-2cm-4s-1 at 1,1500C in an atmosphere of 1.33x104 Pa of oxygen. They have been fulfilled by the following cobalt-base eutectic alloys: Co-Al-Cr, Co-Si-Nb, Co-Cr-Mo, Co-Al-Nb, Co-Cr-Zr, Co-Cr-Nb, Co-Si-Zr, Co-Al-Ta and Co-Cr-Ta, for which the eutectic melting temperature and composition as well as the oxidation resistance were determined. Im Rahmen von Arbeiten, die der Identifizierung neuer Eutektiks auf der Basis Eisen, Kobalt oder Nickel dienen, welche sich zur Entwicklung von orientiert verfestigten Turbinenschaufeln mit Arbeitstemperaturen bis 1.1500C eignen, wurde eine Reihe ternaerer Legierungen auf Kobaltbasis untersucht. Die wichtigsten Bedingungen fuer solche Eutektiks (Schmelzpunkt ueber 1.2000C, spezifisches Gewicht unter 9.000 kg/m3, parabolische Oxidationsrate < 10-7g-2cm-4s-1 bei 1.1500C in O2-Atmosphaere mit 1,33x104PaO2) wurden von folgenden eutektischen Kobaltlegierungen erfuellt: Co-Al-Cr, Co-Si-Nb, Co-Cr-Mo, Co-Al-Nb, Co-Cr-Zr, Co-Cr-Nb, Co-Si-Zr, Co-Al-Ta und Co-Cr-Ta. Ihre eutektischen Schmelztemperaturen und Zusammensetzungen sowie die Oxidationsbestaendigkeit wurden bestimmt. (IHOE)Additional details
