An exact solution of the problem of MHD unsteady flow past an infinite porous plate
Description
The problem of incompressible laminar viscous flow past an infinite flat insulated porous plate moving parallel to itself with uniform velocity with uniform suction at the plate in the presence of transverse magnetic field under the influence of time varying pressure gradient, when the initial distribution of velocity is in an experimental form is studied. The exact solution of the problem has been obtained when pressure gradient is constant and the case of steady flow under constant pressure gradient has been deduced taking the time since the start of motion to be infinite.
