Description

In ADSs, high energy photon in the form of Bremsstrahlung radiations are produces along with high energy neutrons during spallation process. In the present work it has been determined that the 93Nb(γ, n) reaction cross section at the end-point Bremsstrahlung energies of 12, 14 and 16 MeV as well as 45, 50, 55, 60 and 70 MeV by the activation and the off-line γ-ray spectrometric techniques using the 20 MeV electron linac (ELBE) at Helmholtz-Zentrum Dresden- Rossendorf (HZDR) Dresden, Germany and 100 MeV electron linac at Pohang Accelerator Laboratory (PAL), Korea
