Creation of soliton pairs in an external field
Description
Under the coherent-state approximation of soliton states the creation of soliton-antisoliton pairs due to instantaneous uniform external field is considered in the sine-Gordon and λΦ4 theories. Using the exact kink solutions it is found that in the case of the strong field and strong coupling the momentum spectra of solitons and antisolitons have a peak structure. In the region of weak external field or weak coupling the peak structure is absent for the both theories
