Contribution to improvement of interpretation of measuring effective resonance integral bu reactor oscillator method
Description
This paper describes the measuring principles of reactor oscillator and separation of the basic harmonic amplitude, measurements in the thermal and 'pure' epi-cadmium neutron energy region, determining the cadmium threshold energy. Monte Carlo approach for calculating the resonance integral is shown as well as testing of cross section in the resonance region with the obtained results. Appendix I and II contain codes for calculation of cadmium threshold energy and Monte Carlo code for calculating the resonance integral, respectively
