Multiplication methods analysis of the elementary separation effect for laser isotope separation

Description

For any isotope separation method one of the important problems is the development of the principles-of-separation-effect multiplication in an elementary (simple-process) separation process. Earlier an elementary (simple-process) separation process optimization was reported, in which by means of collisional multiple-photon dissociation (MPD) of molecules, with employment of scavengers, the dissociation yield β/sub d/β was increased. There was a laser-frequency red shift from the absorption band, with both dissociation yield β/sub d/β and dissociation selectivity d. In this work the characteristics of the laser separating element (LSE) are analyzed, and the possibility of a laser separating reactor (LSR) formation from such elements is discussed
